Flint Michigan Company Acquires Strategic Downtown Orlando Asset

Flint Michigan based West Second Street Associates has acquired a 118,000 sf office building from AT&T. Located at 500 N. Orange, the property is only 300 feet from the new Lynx Rail Station, at the same intersection as the 23 story Orange County Courthouse, and immediately across the road from the recently proposed Orlando Sentinel redevelopment project.

An existing office building constructed in 1980 currently resides on the 2.25 acre site. “We have developed architectural renderings that include a new glass curtain wall for the building” said John Pavone, Director of Business Development for West Second Street Associates.

George S. Farah, Sr.


WSSA was founded with the vision and support of George Farah, Sr. As a member and partner; he instilled conservative values, honest ideals, and the integrity still held today by WSSA. His expertise and spirit of entrepreneurship are values that continue to guide the company today.

Troy Farah

Founder & Managing Partner

Troy is a founding and managing partner of WSSA. He is actively involved in all strategic decisions. Troy is also very active in the community of Flint, Michigan. He is a managing partner of Uptown Developments, a company credited with sparking the current resurgence of downtown Flint.

John E. Sabty

Founder & Managing Partner

John is a founding and managing partner of WSSA. He brings to the firm over 22 years of dedicated real estate development experience, and is involved in all aspects of the company’s development. Throughout his tenure, John has guided the firm’s GSA development activities throughout the United States.

George Farah, Jr.

Managing Partner, Director of Construction

George Farah, Jr. is a partner in WSSA. George manages the WSSA general contracting division known as Capitol Construction. Capitol Construction is responsible for all new construction activities. George has delivered 10 new GSA developments to the WSSA portfolio since 2007. He is also intricately involved in the WSSA Facilities Management Team.

Managing Partner, Director of Facilities Management

Said Farah is a partner in WSSA. He brings to the company 15 years of managerial and organizational experience. As the Director of Facilities Management, Said plays a pivotal role in guiding our on-site and off-site maintenance personnel. His efforts are pivotal to our highly satisfied customer and tenant base.

Gary Cobb

Director Acquisitions & Dispositions

Gary is responsible for site and property analysis, due diligence and purchases of WSSA real estate assets. In addition, he coordinates sales and marketing of WSSA portfolio assets to facilitate re-investment or tax advantaged Exchanges. He has participated in commercial transactions totaling over $100 million in real estate value, including WSSA’s extensive General Services Administration (GSA) portfolio.

Donna Klagstad

Director of Accounting

Donna is an integral and important part of the company’s day-to-day management. She oversees the accounting department and is responsible for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivables, and acts as a lead liaison with our vendors.

Tanya Chamberlain

Director of Administration

Tanya is responsible for tenant management and maintenance contracts across the entire WSSA portfolio. She is also responsible for the accounts payable processing. Tanya has a Bachelor’s of Business Administration with minor in Accounting from Baker College.

Perry Bender

Director of Finance

Perry is responsible for high-level report writing and financial analysis for the WSSA portfolio of companies. He has been a CPA for over 20 years and has worked with a variety of corporate clients.
